Just outside Bangkok, one of the most beautiful streets will be closed to let dancers and enthusiasts swing their hearts out against the golden backdrop of Phra Pathom Chedi.
“Big Bang: Swing Dancing,” hosted by Bangkok Swing, returns with a full vintage night of swing dancing, plus live music from Swedish band Gunhild Carling & her Family Band.
More than 140 dancers from 16 countries will dance up a storm with their hot moves, while local street vendors will fill you up with yummy treats.
Beginners need not worrying about being left out as a free intro dance class will be held for the first 30 minutes, catering to even those zero swing dance experience.
The swing dance night takes place on Feb. 28, at 7pm. Entry is free. Just show up in your cute vintage outfit.
