Thai police confirmed the four body parts found in different parts of the Chao Phraya River over the weekend are from the same person.
They said the head, torso, arm and leg are likely to be from an Asian foreigner, Bangkok Post reported.
The body was of an Asian male in his 40s and around 165cm tall, cops said.
They could not confirm the nationality but said the DNA results showed he was not Thai.
Police believe the man was killed before being dismembered and dumped in the river.
