When Gen. Prayuth Chanocha moves into the capital’s seat of power, he’ll have a new meeting room as advanced as anything found in the Obama White House, according to one official.
Pimped out up with 89 new microphones costing THB145,000 each and a 55-inch video wall to handle critical conferences, the newly improved meeting room 501 will be ready for the first ministers’ meeting to be held Tuesday.
Apart from room 501, which was shown off to the press last week, two other conference rooms also received proper upgrades. Room 101 was not shown to the press.
Refurbishing the three rooms cost THB69 million, Khaosod reported.
