Two cows were killed after being hit by a van while walking upon the Srirach Tollway in Bangkok last night.
Ruamkatanyu officers are investigating the accident, which involved five cows who accidentally found themselves on the busy road.
Two of the cows were hit by a van at the 300-meter point from Chaengwattana Road exit. The crash greatly damaged the van, slightly injuring the driver, and mortally wounded the cows.
The owner of the bovines later appeared at the scene of the accident and negotiated with the van’s driver. Officers moves the damaged vehicle so it would not cause traffic in the morning, INN reported.
