After a nearly four-month streak, a lottery winner from Iloilo City finally hit the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s (PCSO) Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot, taking home a whopping PHP401 million (US$7.15 million) prize.
The winner correctly guessed the combination of 02-18-49-07-19-47 drawn for Grand Lotto 6/55 on Saturday night and won a total prize of PHP401,186,804.80.
The PCSO said that it took almost four months before someone hit the jackpot for the Grand Lotto 6/55 game, with the last winner bagging the prize in March and taking home PHP98.5 million (US$1.76 million).
Meanwhile, another winner hit the jackpot for the Regular Lotto 6/42 game, with a bettor from Cavite City taking home a prize of over PHP5 million (US$89,300).
The PCSO’s Grand Lotto is drawn on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while the Regular Lotto 6/42 is drawn on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
