Remember when two dead bodies in two separate cases turned up in the Singapore River across the span of a week back in April? Looks like it’s happening again.
The body of a dead man was discovered in the Singapore River by the waters near The Fullerton Bay Hotel on Tuesday (June 6). The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that it was notified of an incident around 3.15pm of a man who had drowned in the river. His body was retrieved around 4.30pm by officers, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
This morning (June 7), the body of another man was found in Jurong Lake. The SCDF retrieved the body around 8.10am after it had dispatched two fire engines, two fire bikes and one support vehicle to the scene.
