Missing model ‘Kendo’ found dead in Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River

Police confirmed this afternoon that a body recovered from the Chao Phraya River belonged to a male model who went missing two days ago.

Capt. Yokin Kenyapat of Pak Khlong San police said Thursday afternoon that the body of Kullapat “Kendo” Pongpraphap was retrieved near the Ratchawong Pier in Bangkok, two days after he went missing from his apartment in Bangkok’s Thonburi district.

His body was found with a patient card for the Siriraj Hospital, a smartphone, earphones, and a wallet containing cash. 

The police said they are investigating. Kendo’s body was sent for autopsy.

Kendo, 26 and of Thai-Japanese heritage, appeared regularly in fashion magazines such as Elle Men, Hamburger and Lips. In his last Instagram post on Dec. 26, he posed for a One Siam campaign.
