A body has been found in the search for an Englishman who disappeared after he attended the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan on Feb. 12.
Andrew Apperley, 38, from Eastbourne, was reported missing by the staff of ibis Hotel on Koh Samui, four days after he attended the infamous beach party and never returned. He reportedly checked in on the morning of the party and left his passport and driver’s license at reception.
Apperly was last heard from when he messaged his mom on WhatsApp the night of the party that he would take a boat back to the hotel in the next morning.
Hotel staff said Apperley’s belongings are still at the hotel.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed yesterday that a body had been found in Thailand in the search for Apperley and that his family had been informed. However, formal identification has not yet taken place, according to BBC.
The story has not been reported in Thai media.
