In a midnight press conference at his office, Hong Kong Chief Executive CY Leung announced that he would not resign. Despite lots of tension and some minor scuffles, the crowd outside demanding for his ouster remained calm.
It was an anti-climactic night and the ball is back in the protestors’ court.
