What happens when you put two of Hong Kong’s most exciting artistic talents together in an abandoned disused factory and get them to create a party? That was the question raised by the creators of Artbeat which launched its first successful project last week. We went along to get a taste.
Organized and funded by Absolut Vodka, Artbeat brought together the artist, Jay Forster, and the musicians,Daft Pink, who collaborated to create one of the most unique parties in Hong Kong this year.Their canvas was a disused factory warehouse located in the industrial area of Kwun Tong, which they decked out with installations and contraptions ahead of the event.
