The Philippines uses about 60 billion pieces of sachets and 17.5 billion plastic bags every year. Suffering from this pollution is Baseco, a neighborhood connected to the dirty Manila Bay. Trash from various provinces continually wash up its shore, leaving the place drowning in plastic waste. Residents try to clean it up every Sunday, but the problem has proven to be too big to handle.
