Constantly on the lookout for new and notable late-night hangouts? Here’s the lowdown on some new concepts that have recently launched.
Fleek
Hip hop club Fleek recently moved into its new digs at Marina Square, leaving its doors open late into the night for party-goers to drink and dance till the wee hours of the morning. Fleek v2.0 comes with a runway space on the dance floor for those who love spotlight-hogging, catchy neon-lit phrases splayed on its walls, an expanded DJ line-up, more themed nights, and extended opening hours.
You can hang with AOS Collective DJs on Fridays or Inquisitive and T-Fresh on Saturdays, and laugh out loud with local comedian Kumar on selected Thursdays or chug that free flow liquor on Wednesdays (only if you’re a lady).

Junior’s Pacifica
The latest concept by hidden Tanjong Pagar bar Junior is a Tiki-themed one called Pacifica, where Polynesian culture, seasonal ingredients, and lush green ceiling foliage give off all the tropical vibes you need to forget about work. With a menu that’s divided into four sections — Legends of Liquid Lore, Apertiki, Traditional Tipples of the Tropics, and Progressive Potions of Pacifica — the bar is a cozy, cave-like escape from the hectic CBD.
Most interestingly, the Legends of Liquid Lore section features pages of iconic Tiki drinks (classic in the sense of capturing their essence, not necessarily recipe) juxtaposed with contemporary renditions. Take, for example, the Zombie ($25). It’s a potent blend of rum and citrus, and its modern version, the Jiangshi ($25) gets the savory touch with black mushroom-infused rye whisky, beetroot, five spice, smoky mezcal, lemon, and passionfruit.
Elsewhere on the menu, you’ll find lighter concoctions for those who don’t want to get too buzzed, Caribbean cocktails from the 1700s to the 1970s, and original drinks that mix up non-mainstream ingredients like seaweed-infused mezcal and green guava with modern methods. If you’d like a light bite, try snacks like crab rangoon ($12), a fried wonton of pickled crab meat and cream cheese, or charred peppers with pineapple ($8).

The Monarchy
The Monarchy party nights at OUE Bayfront’s rooftop have finally found a permanent home in a Tras Street shop house. Enter through the front door, which apparently bears an identical resemblance to 10 Downing Street in London, the home of the British Prime Minister, and you’ll find yourself in the British-themed cocktail bar and lounge.
Central to the space is an 8m-long granite bar, surrounded by leather stools, red booths, paintings of British monarchs, and custom-built high tables.
To quench your thirst, try one of the 18 cocktail creations, including highlights like Stairway to Heaven, a mix of vodka, lemon, apple liquor, rhubarb, and soda, or Champagne Supernova, a drink of Pimm’s, watermelon, lemon, cucumber, and champagne.
On weekend nights, the nondescript door at the back of the bar opens to reveal the entrance of the Monarchy lounge, where revelers can sink into leather sofas, dance it up on platforms or chill by one of the seven VIP tables. Also look out for upcoming Monarchy monogrammed jackets by local bespoke tailor Kevin Seah — those donning the threads will get invites to closed-door events — art pieces by Alex Wakefield, and wines produced in partnership with Peccavi Estate in Australia.
