Woman stabbed in Yangon’s North Okkalapa township

Police say a 25-year-old woman was stabbed by a man about the same age on Monday afternoon in North Okkalapa township.

There are little details on the case, but the victim survived and the attacker was arrested, 7Day reported.

“We are still investigating the reason for the stabbing,” a police officer told the paper. “We sent the girl to the hospital. We can’t say exactly yet. We detained the suspect.”
