Two foreigners jailed for stealing jade from Bogyoke Market

Two Chinese nations were sentenced to three years in prison on Monday for stealing jade from a jewelry shop in Bogyoke Market last year.

Liu Jian Yue, 47, and Yang Juan Zhang, 51, are accused of taking $12,300 worth of jade on August 16. They were arrested at the airport on the same day.

An officer from Pabedan Township court told Eleven Media: “The judge sentenced these two guys to live in prison for three years from today.”
