How many margaritas can you drink in an hour?
That’s the challenge set by Tin Tin Yangon, the fancy-ish Mexican joint on Bogalay Zay Street that just introduced a ‘neighborhood hour’ featuring free cocktail refills from 6-7pm daily.
In an announcement posted to Facebook, the bar-restaurant said: “Tin Tin’s Mixologists would like to give its residents of downtown yangon [sic] special thanks by offering a special margarita each day with unlimited refill.”
This might be a callous marketing gimmick but the special drink, a pomegranate and watermelon margarita with jalapeno peppers and a dehydrated mint salt rim, sounds so good that we might not care.
Tin Tin Yangon is located on Bogalay Zay Street, between Mahabandoolah and Merchant streets.
