A man wielding an iron rod barged his way onto a Yangon minibus on Friday and robbed the conductor of K20,000, the Voice reported.
According to local police, the 30-year-old boarded the bus in front of Mingala market, in Mingala Taung Nyunt Township, at around 5:30pm.
He reportedly threatened to kill the conductor.
Minibuses are a common form of transport in Yangon, alongside public buses.
The case is under investigation.
