Four small explosions shake South Dagon immigration office

Four minor explosions hit the immigration office in South Dagon Township yesterday afternoon.

An officer from the South Dagon Township police station told Kumudra Journal: “Three explosions occurred in the toilet at two-minute intervals. One was near the trash can. The last one happened after four or five minutes near the door. It happened at 1:50pm. There were no injuries or casualties.”

Police are now investigating the case and have not released any additional details.

Unconfirmed reports say the explosions were caused by M-150 energy drink containers filled with chemicals, just like the explosions at Capital Hypermart in Dawbon Township on November 20 and at Ocean Supercenter in Mayangone Township on November 17.
