DAGON MYOTHIT (SEIKKAN)
Like the other "new city" projects build by the military government in the late 80s, Dagon Seikkan is known for its formal housing shortages and the government's abortive attempts to meet the people's needs. Though it is mostly industrial, the township is also home to the Ayerwon Art Gallery, which has exhibited works by students at the nearby National University of Arts and Culture.
