Ninjas are coming to Yangon and Mandalay next week

Ninjas from the Rai Fu Jin ninja squad will be performing and holding ninjutsu workshops in Yangon and Mandalay next week.

The events are hosted by the Japan Cultural House and the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar.

The Yangon event will be held on Sunday, May 21, at MICT Park from 10:30am to 12pm. The Mandalay event will be held on Tuesday, May 23, at Mandalay City Hall from 10am to 2pm.

Both events are offer free admission.

The Japan Culture House opened last year to promote a cultural exchange between Japan and Myanmar and is sponsored by the Japan Foundation Asia Center and the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA).

It houses a library of Myanmar, English, and Japanese books, films, and TV shows. It also hosts monthly programs, such as quizzes and karaoke events.

The Japan Culture House is open to the public every day except Tuesdays from 10am to 6pm and on weekends from 9am to 5:30pm.
