Popular Myanmar food empire Sharky’s expands to Bagan

Good news for gourmands who happen to be visiting Bagan.

Just in time for the high season, Sharky’s restaurant, which uses local ingredients to offer up everything from cheese to full-course meals, is now open in Myanmar’s ancient city.

Bagan is not exactly a food lover’s paradise, so the addition will add a twist to the experience for travelers looking for something a little different.

Sharky’s has been slowly expanding for years, though concentrating on Yangon.

Last year the restaurant opened a location in the heart of downtown, on Pansodan street.

If you aren’t familiar with the place, check out our interview with Sharky himself.
