Four days following the horrifying blaze that ravaged a huge area at 23 Tuas View Circuit, Minister for Home Affairs and Law K Shanmugam uploaded a video montage on his Facebook page showcasing how Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) firefighters worked tirelessly in those four hours to contain and extinguish the flames.
In the video, various explosions can be heard (and seen) going off while SCDF personnel were still in the midst of combating the inferno.
We’ve mentioned this before, but damn if the scene of the aftermath doesn’t resemble a post-apocalyptic scenario. Big up to the 200 SCDF personnel who helped to put out the blaze that involved chemical waste at a waste management plant.
