When two strangers representing different religions are put together in a room, one would expect some spirited (and spiritual) debate to ensue.
But when both individuals are professional exorcists, of course they’re gonna be trading experiences of the pesky supernatural entities they’ve handled during their jobs. The New York Times Style Magazine Singapore recently had a Muslim cleric and a Taoist master get together and discuss the challenges, the changes, and some of the horrid cases they had in the past.
Regardless of whether you believe in the supernatural or not, it’s the agreement that both exorcists had at the end that’s genuinely striking: Humans are way scarier than any ghosts, jinns, or demons out there.
