WATCH: A melodic satire of Singapore’s recent controversies in the tune of a Justin Bieber song

Young blogger Lhu Wen Kai is back again with another composition — this time compiling all the controversial issues within Singapore and crafting them into a parody called ‘Ownself Check Ownself’. In the tune of the Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ no less. 

The surreal part comes when you see Elmo saying “Let’s make Singapore great again!” before repeating Minister Tan Chua-Jin’s statement about aged cardboard uncles and aunties collecting cardboard as “a form of exercise”
