Keep those sunnies, sunscreen sprays and umbrellas on hand in the next couple weeks, as the weather forecast looks to be sunny with a chance of 35°C highs. The warm weather just around the corner comes as Singapore enters the Southwest Monsoon season, with drier weather conditions and winds from the south.
According to the National Environment Agency, there may be short thundery showers in the late morning and early afternoon on a couple days during the first fortnight of June. The later part of the month will see one or two days of thundery showers with strong winds in the early morning hours.
Don’t expect much rainfall this month — it’ll be less than usual — and temperatures will range between 25°C and 35°C over the last two weeks of June.
Gotta love our 24/7 summer weather.
