In another prime example of why no one should record themselves in the midst of a foolish act — much less upload it online for the world to see — one teenager was arrested after footage surfaced of him gleefully tossing a traffic cone off an HDB block.

Apparently, the 19-year-old was reckless enough to carry out the prank while being filmed by his friend for Instagram Stories. Of course, nothing ever stays private on social media, and the video eventually found its way to All Singapore Stuff’s Facebook page last Thursday, where it promptly went viral, with many netizens berating both teens for the foolhardy act.

According to The Straits Times, the incident occurred on one of the higher floors at Block 856, Tampines Street 82. Thankfully, no one was injured from the falling traffic cone.

The teen in the video was subsequently handcuffed for committing a rash act, and investigations are ongoing.
