Perspective is everything. To most Singaporeans, the Lee family feud that’s engulfed headlines the past couple of weeks seems like such important issue — consequential enough to debate it in Parliament, anyway.

To the rest of the world, though, it’s a joke. And it’s all aptly summarized by irreverent news channel Tomo News — the guys depicting current affairs in hilariously exaggerated 3D animations.

Last having had their fun with Amos Yee VS The Government, this time they’re skewering the saga that’s taken the world Singapore by storm, and none of the Lee siblings come out as good guys. Of course, there’re more elements in play than the surface coverage (accusations of abuse of power, the deep fractures within Singapore’s first family, etc), but as political satire with intentionally bad CGI, this is top notch.

As expected, some no-chill Singaporeans just can’t see the humour in the whole thing. Here come the butthurt brigade!
