It started with a customer leaving his phone behind at their airport outlet, prompting the pair to hunt him down, and ended with one of them going up to his departure gate to pass the gadget back to the owner. Talk about going the extra mile.

On Reddit, user Jeduh shared his backstory, explaining that he was about to leave Singapore for a business trip when he realized he had misplaced his phone. Thankfully, the two kind baristas reportedly working at the Starbucks outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 2 cut his worries short when they stumbled upon the missing phone and did all they could to return it to him.

Thank you very much for returning my phone to me from r/singapore

After cheekily snapping a wefie with his female colleague (for memory’s sake), the male barista walked all the way to the man’s boarding gate and handed him his valuable. Jeduh detailed his experience in the Reddit post, expressing his gratitude by thanking them “from the bottom of [his] heart”, as he had not been able to do so while he was rushing to catch his flight.
