Kyra Poh is a name you’ll want to remember in the realm of indoor skydiving. The 15-year-old Singaporean —who took home the gold medal in the junior freestyle category at last year’s Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) World Cup of Indoor Skydiving in Warsaw, Poland — made us proud once again when she retained her title on Sunday at this year’s competition in Laval, Canada.

Victory was hers when she scored 64.1 over the seven-round event, beating American Kayleigh Wittenburg by just 0.9 points, according to The Straits Times.

The School of the Arts Singapore student also bagged silver in the dynamic two-way artistic category with her training partner, 16-year-old Choo Yi Xuan, in representation of Team Firefly. The pair were the only female pairing to compete in the Open category among the 22 participating teams, and they upped their game from last year, when they finished fourth.

The annual FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championship sees competitors perform a set routine in a wine tunnel with speeds up to 300km/h. Events are judged based on speed or artistic merit, and the freestyle category features routine performances in coordination with music.

No stranger to the honor of first place, Poh previously clinched two gold medals at the 2017 Wind Games at Spain in February, followed by four gold medals at the Australian Indoor Skydiving Championships in August, Channel NewsAsia reported.
