National carrier Singapore Airlines and ride-hailing platform Grab announced today their partnership to integrate their mobile apps to make traveling more convenient for customers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
In a media release, they said that SIA customers can now book Grab rides to the airport through the SingaporeAir mobile app seven days before their scheduled flight. And if you’re one of the first 5,000 customers to do so, you’ll receive $10 worth of GrabPay credits in your Grab account.
GrabRewards members will also be able to convert their points into KrisFlyer miles with SIA. Specifically, 11,000 GrabRewards points will get you 1,000 Kris Flyer miles. This initiative goes live on Oct 13 for GrabRewards Platinum members, followed by all other GrabRewards members on Oct 20.
Additionally, if you’re a frequent Grab customer, you may stand a chance to win a pair of Business Class tickets to Hong Kong if you enter the code ‘GRABSQ’ in the promo field on the Grab app for every ride you take between Oct 9 and Nov 9. Whoever books the most rides during the month will get the free flight.
