Props to this kind soldier who carried a little girl across the stadium at an NDP preview

Good deeds should be shouted out from the rooftops. That’s why we’re shining the spotlight on this particular Singapore soldier and his small but selfless act of kindness.

Lieutenant Tee Chze Hao and his company were in charge of spectator management at the South Sector of the National Stadium for this year’s National Day Parade. That was where a mum and her young daughter arrived for the preview on July 23. Not only were they slightly late, they also found themselves at the wrong end of the enormous stadium, and the mother was struggling with carrying her daughter and her bags.

To save the little girl from walking all the way to the other end, Tee offered to carry her while the mum held on to her stuff.

His thoughtful actions were even noticed by The Singapore Army’s Facebook page.

Kudos to him for going above and beyond his duty.
