Still your rapidly-beating hearts; Britain’s Prince Harry will be dropping by our shores for the first time ever in June. All in the name of charity, of course (who doesn’t love a sovereign with an equally royal heart?).
The second son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana — and younger brother to Prince William — is visiting sunny Singapore to participate in the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup, an annual fundraising event hosted by the Singapore Polo Club this year on June 5. The charity organization is one that Prince Harry established together with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, and it’s the first time the polo event will be held in Southeast Asia.
After his visit to Singapore, the prince will head off to Sydney for events in honor of the Aussie city’s hosting of the 2018 Invictus Games, an international sports competition for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
