In one of their more creative parenting life hacks here, a husband-and-wife duo thought of a fun way to keep track of their young daughter in an environment where they might get lose sight of the toddler. Especially hyperactive ones.

In a Facebook post last Friday, the parents posted amusing clips of their shopping trip at a Royal Sporting House warehouse sale, where they could easily lose track of the child in the midst of other customers and copious racks of clothing. Their solution? Tie a helium balloon to their daughter’s hairband and voila — instant tracking device.

But before prissy parents start chiming about how dangerous it is, the life hack is simply done for a laugh, and of course, it’s always better to keep a close eye on children instead of letting them run around buck wild.
