Four laptops — estimated to be worth over $4,000 in all — went missing on Saturday from a church along Telok Blangah Road.

What police found through CCTV footage and follow-up investigations was that a 52-year-old man allegedly trespassed onto church property and stole said laptops. The man was arrested along Maritime Square early yesterday morning around 4.40am.

The man will be charged with the offence of house trespass in order to commit theft — a charge that carries a maximum jail term of up to seven years and/or a fine.
