Oof, we felt the second-hand pain in this one. In an alarming dashcam clip that should scare folks off jaywalking (or at least make them more cautious when they do), a woman got her foot ran over by a multi-purpose vehicle.
The incident at the Fusionopolis cluster took place on Wednesday morning when the victim and her companion had been crossing a two-lane road. Blindsided by a stationary taxi, the two were severely caught unawares by the MPV — and one of them paid the price with a wounded foot.
As bad as that injury may be, it could have gone down a lot worse if her reflexes weren’t quick enough. The clip shows how she very nearly got knocked down if she hadn’t hesitated.
What’s even odder is the fact that a bunch of guys standing by the roadside nearby who saw the whole thing didn’t even move an inch to assist the hobbling lady. At least the MPV driver got out to check out the situation, but it seemed like he was scolding them for jaywalking.
