After repeated disruptions on their North-South Line, SMRT decided to stay one step ahead of the outrage by warning commuters about some “additional train travelling time” that may prove to be necessary this evening.
Thanks, we guess?
In case you were one of the lucky few not caught in the commuting snarl in the past 24 hours, the North-South Line was hit by two signalling faults that caused extensive train delays yesterday during the evening peak hours, and earlier today in the morning rush hour. If it goes down again later, it’ll be three times in a row commuters using the North-South Line get derailed during peak periods.
[NSL]: Our engineers are working hard to continue their checks and investigations. Our staff is ready to assist.
