Feng Tianwei beats Olympic champion/world no. 1 Ding Ning in Chinese Super League

Not long after the Singapore Table Tennis Association dropped Feng Tianwei from the national team in October, she gained a sweet, sweet victory by beating Olympic champion and world no.1 Ding Ning. The match took place on Sunday at the Chinese Super League, where the 30-year-old, who represented the club Ordos, defeated both Ding and another Chinese player, Li Jiayuan.

What a great triumph for Feng — who’s the world no.5 — at this playing field, which is supposedly the world’s biggest table tennis league competition.
