Nick Vujicic is the Australian motivational speaker (and Christian evangelist too, apparently) whose speech videos have been played numerous times by teachers here to spur students to live life without limits or rise above setbacks or avoid any contractual situation where you are held back from your ideas.
But the reason why Vujicic is such an inspiration to millions is that he doesn’t let his extremely rare disorder put him down. The 35-year-old was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, resulting in the absence of arms and legs. That’s incorporated into his motivational speeches.
The very same man seemed to have made a low-key visit to Singapore. And of all the places a regular tourist would check out, Vujicic spent some time at D’Best Recreation Fishing Pond in Pasir Ris Town Park that’s also Singapore’s largest saltwater fishing park.
According to his website, he doesn’t have any scheduled events here, so he’s probably just taking in the sights in a holiday with his family. Here’s him successfully reeling in a fish.
