A motorcyclist was simply riding along an expressway when, out of the blue, a huge minivan knocked him down for no reason at all.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, a car on the lane to his right was not able to brake in time, and ran over both him and his motorbike.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, he was dragged under that car for quite a distance. Overall, just a very bad day for the motorcyclist.

It’s unclear which expressway and when the accident happened, but from the dashcam footage, it seems that it happened in Singapore, according to the multiple Singapore-registered license plates.

As for the rider himself, netizens claim that he turned out alright — but it could have easily gone much, much worse for the poor dude.

The Roads.SG Facebook page stated that the 46-year-old victim was conveyed to the National University Hospital, and is currently warded in their Intensive Care Unit. The accident itself transpired on May 24 along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

A recent update provided by a friend of the fallen rider noted that the victim survived the horrible ordeal, but sustained multiple injuries, including severe fractures and internal bleeding. The man will also have to undergo a few surgical procedures — we wish him a speedy recovery.

EDIT: Article updated to reflect condition of victim.
