Eunos Link high speed chase turns violent, results in 7 people injured and 2 taxis damaged

This is what happens when you ignore police road blocks and attempt to speed off, Fast and Furious style. You eventually get caught, and people get injured in the process. On the morning of Apr 10, around 4am, a car chase ended in a multi-vehicle accident at the junction of Bedok Reservoir Road and Eunos Link.

It started with the police conducting an operation along Still Road South on Sunday morning. At the road block, a 27-year-old male driver in a white saloon car ignored the officer’s instructions and zoomed off, so the police car gave chase. It is believed that the man sped past a red light, smashing into a taxi, while the police vehicle collided with another taxi.

The two in the white saloon car that evaded the road block have subsequently been arrested for traffic and drug-related offences. Police investigations are underway.
