Don’t cringe at this performance of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ on the MRT, they seem like genuine dudes

Big up to local busker Muhammad Firdaus Osman, who just wanted to inject some liveliness and vibrancy to the lives of his fellow Singaporeans.

How though? By calling upon his friends to perform a cover of ‘Creep’, Radiohead’s classic tune about, er, self-loathing. Sorry dudes, we just don’t register Pablo Honey to be proper Radiohead, especially when there’s Kid A, OK Computer and In Rainbows to choose from. Just anything except Pablo Honey. Please.

To be fair though, at least it wasn’t ‘Wonderwall’.

But, we digress. Firdaus (dude with the tie) and his friends went on to play ‘Creep’ on the MRT and seemed to have a good time doing so — at least until MRT staff had to spoil the fun by putting an end to it. At least they were kind enough to let Firdaus and friends finish the song though.

It’s too low a hanging fruit to point out that these guys may be a little off tune (plus the fact that ‘Creep’ is only slightly behind ‘Wonderwall’ in terms of cliché), so we’ll restrain ourselves from saying anything bad about these genuine bros. Bless up, keep on keeping on.
