Changi Airport career fair offers more than 2,300 positions for job-seekers

Always wanted to work at Changi Airport (one of the best, if not the best, in the world)? Good news: More than 2,300 job opportunities are available there, details of which you can get at the two-day Adapt And Grow career fair, which started today in Crowne Plaza Changi Airport.

Over 40 employers are looking to hire to prepare for the opening of the airport’s Terminal 4 in the second half of the year. Positions include roles in airline operations, ground handling, aviation security, engineering, food and beverage, as well as retail and customer service, according to Workforce Singapore.

About eight out of 10 vacancies are for rank-and-file workers, and a third of these offer salaries above $2,000. Twenty percent of the openings are for professionals, managers, executives and technicians, and salaries for these roles can go up to $8,000. To attract mature workers, people with disabilities and those thinking about a mid-career switch, several employers are also providing flexible work arrangements for employees.

If you can’t make it to the event, you can always talk to companies and apply for jobs via the virtual fair, which will run from today until February 22.
