Tender meat and veg everywhere, life’s no fun without a good scare. A cai png (economy rice or Chinese nasi padang, for those not in the know) stall in Serangoon was captured fully embracing the spirit of Halloween, complete with props and decor to spook you into accidentally ordering (gasp!) more than one fish dish to go along with your rice.

Earlier today, Redditor u/sporkswork shared a picture of a cai png stall located in a food court at Block 326 along Serangoon Avenue 3. According to the Redditor, the stall owner was really into it, showing off the different Halloween props and toys for patrons to play around with. Apparently, the stall is decorated every festive season — Halloween included.

The most obvious thing to order from the stall this All Hallows’ Eve would be pumpkin, but the real fright comes when one makes an unwise order.
