DISTRICT 02 - TANJONG PAGAR

As a historic enclave located within the central business district, Tanjong Pagar's fleet of shophouses remain conserved and restored to their original appearances amidst a background of skyscrapers. Though the spirit of the old has remained largely intact in Chinatown, Tanjong Pagar as a whole has become a highly fashionable district for yuppies with hip cafés, restaurants and bars located close to offices.
