For those who haven’t heard the news, all the midnight madness at ZoukOut 2018 will be squeezed into a one-night rave, with headliners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Dutch duo W&W announced earlier this year.

The music festival, now in its 18th edition, will be themed The Interplanetary Voyage, with a Moon Stage spanning 36m-wide and 20m-tall. Inspired by Zouk’s “mothership” lighting fixture in its Clarke Quay digs, the colossal structure features reflective steel panels, metallic connecting tubes, plasma LED screens, and a focal center “Zouk Eye” that will project graphics. Of course, let’s not forget the usual strobe lights, lasers, and pyrotechnics.

Launching the party into out-of-this-world territory, Australian DJ/producer/live instrumentalist Timmy Trumpet, Dutch producer Jeffrey Sutorius (formerly part of Dash Berlin), and electro house whiz KSHMR will join the line-up that also includes Swedish DJ duo Galantis.

As a festival first, ZoukOut will feature a “boutique dining experience” with Michelin-starred Burnt Ends and FOC Sentosa this year. Billed as a VIP culinary affair (for VIP pass holders only), the concept offers 15 plates against the beach backdrop, and it’s limited to 150 seats.

For the rest of us living that pleb life, we’ve got the food village to fuel up on grub by Meatsmith, Nam Nam, and less high-end dishes by Burnt Ends and FOC Sentosa. Besides the beats, visitors will also have stilt walkers, LED-adorned dancers, Cyber Japan dancers, and the Ekta Singapura dance troupe roving around festival grounds, as well as a body marbling station, for additional entertainment.
