We may not be getting much of a Frozen vibe here in Singapore right now, but winter is still coming to our corner of the tropics in 2019. Ice Magic park, a frosty wonderland of ice sculptures and snow sports, is set to cool down the East side next February.

The two-month pop-up at Changi Exhibition Centre will feature over 600 tonnes of powdery “snow”, so those of you who missed out on a white Christmas can still experience snowfall, get into a snowball fight, snap pics with frozen ice sculptures, and try your hand at skiing, skating, snowboarding, or bumper cars on ice.

If you’re a little tired of what Snow City has to offer, this wintery playground could be a welcome respite from our year-round heat and humidity. Besides the sub-zero activities, visitors can also check out the Magic Forest filled with glowing flora and fairytale creatures or the candy-themed village for post-Yuletide celebrations, with a chocolate exhibition, a carousel, a giant chess set, and a whimsical play area of life-sized candy treats.

Willy Wonka-style workshops are also available if you’d like to whip up your own sugar-spun desserts.
