Cafe/restaurant/record shop White Label Records just opened up on Ann Siang Road a couple of weeks ago. (It’s still got that new car smell.) Their first big event is co-hosted with Jazzy Sport (also a cool concept store/record shop spot, coming from Japan): Grooveman Spot will be spinning on both nights, supported by the local likes of Rah and Bongomann, and food made by Wanton.

19-year old American singer-songwriter Lindsey Jordon (AKA Snail Mail, AKA the “indie-rock prodigy” praised by Rolling Stone earlier this year) is coming to town for a live show in support of her debut album, Lush. Since its launch in June earlier this year, the album has gotten loads of love from music critics for its lyrics (smart and deep AF) and Jordan’s ability to at once evoke the best of indie rock while also breathing some freshness into the sound.
