The month of May, which is also known as the Flower Moon, is apparently the best month for wine bottling. So Drunken Farmer’s celebrating it with $10 drinks all night long, a “Meltdown” workout by Haus Athletics, and a beginner-friendly night yoga class. Of course, the natural wines will be flowing freely, too.

The aquarium welcomes World Oceans Day with its Ocean Fest set to the theme of “The Noisy Ocean,” to raise awareness on ocean soundscapes and the negative effect of sound pollution through installations, musical performances, and more. Highlights include a percussion showcase, audio-visual exhibits, and talks on how best to protect manta rays.

The new Cloud Forest display features almost 1,500 orchids of more than 58 species and varieties divided into categories such as “sweet floral” and “spicy floral,” which you can breathe in by getting close to the blooms on show. Also look out for five “fragrance boxes” housing a revolving line-up of orchids with scented notes like pepper, tom yum, and even bubble gum.

Zouk 28th Anniversary: The Art of Clubbing
Zouk’s taking advantage of the long weekend to throw a trio of parties, starting with Brohug kicking off the festivities on Friday, followed by R3hab and his brand of electronic grooves on Saturday. Oh, and since Sunday’s the eve of Vesak Day, the party continues with everyone’s favorite nostalgic night, Mambo Jambo, featuring DJs Jeremy Boon and Leonard T behind the decks.

Dempsey Village Farmers Market
Hosted by Brunch Bandits, Siri House’s weekend farmers’ market features wares from 15 local producers and craftsmen. Besides attending workshops on soap making and learning about Singapore’s edible flowers and weeds, you can browse through the selection of bakes by bread yard, tropical jams from Straits Preserves, greens and herbs from Savoure, locally harvested honey by Nutrinest, and loads more.

Lion City Youth Jazz Festival Finale Concert
Featuring jazz mentors and the young musicians of the Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra, the evening’s repertoire highlights the themes of the Gershwin musical, Porgy & Bess, with classics such as “Summertime” and “I Got Plenty ‘O Nuttin’.”
7:30pm at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. $35-$75.
The three-day carnival includes a sale of Philips products with discounts of up to 60 percent, educational talks, cooking demonstrations, a pop-up “sleep experience center,” and more.
