Another Party: From Middle Class Cigars

Part of Outsider Fashion Art Festival, this car park party features performances by the likes of Pleasantry, Cosmic Child, Sobs, Mediocre Haircut Crew, and more.

Friday Night Live

Let the weekend shenanigans begin at Siloso Beach with Coastes’ new music series featuring musicians belting out the tunes of funk, pop, rock, soul, and jazz.

“In Search of Golden Shoe Fortunes” Heritage Trail

This English and Mandarin guided trail takes you across the CBD with tales of the plans and the people who contributed to the development of the area.

Kampong Boogie

Disco the night away on the breezy rooftop car park to the beats of funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop, house, and more.

Offerings

The first solo photography exhibition for fashion photographer Wai Teik features artworks that explore how we construct and hold on to traditions in a time and place that is becoming increasingly ‘rootless’.

Pet Expo

Let your weekend be filled with paw-sitive vibes at this pet fair, where you can check out activities like an art and pet fashion showcase, dog yoga sessions, a market filled with local pet-preneurs, and more.

Profusion of Colours

A group exhibition featuring the works of Gregory Burns, Eugene Soh, and Joshua Tang, this series celebrates the empowerment of people with special needs through the arts.

Singapore Heritage Festival

This year’s edition spotlights the neighborhoods of Jurong, Chinatown, Jalan Besar, Bras Basah.Bugis, and Toa Payoh, with highlights such as a ’70s-inspired drive-in cinema, tours of candy and biscuit factories, a carnival at the iconic Dragon Playground, and a street party at Jalan Besar.

Sing Jazz 

The fifth edition of Singapore’s jazz fest features names like Jamie Cullum, Lauryn Hill, Estelle, Sebastien Tellier, Paulinho Garcia, Lalah Hathaway, and Tompi on its groovy line-up.

The Secret

The musical adaptation of Jay Chou’s directorial feature debut takes you on a time-traveling journey with the love story of two students that span across decades. Keep an ear out for some of the singer-songwriter’s most well-known songs woven in throughout the production.

World Gourmet Summit

Indulge in degustation dinners, gourmet events, culinary masterclasses, and more at this year’s World Gourmet Summit.

9th Organic-Friendly Farmers’ Market

If you’re in town over the weekend, pop by the farmers’ market for artisanal products, urban farming workshops, and educational sessions.

Sunday, Apr 8

Angkor: Exploring Cambodia’s Sacred City. Masterpieces of the Musee national des arts asiatiques-Guimet

Browse through more than 140 sculptures, watercolors, drawings, and historic memorabilia from the Guimet Museum, one of the leading Asian art museums in Europe, at this exhibition on Angkor. Throughout the months, the museum will also host talks and programmes related to Angkor and contemporary Cambodian culture. Part of the ongoing Voilah! French Festival Singapore 2018.

La Boqueria Market Brunch & La Gintoneria

A regular recreation of the buzzing Boqueria Market in Barcelona, this brunch experience serves up suckling pig, octopus and pork belly skewers, and plates of paella that you can wash down with unlimited servings of sangria, gin and tonic, red wine, and white wine.

11:30am-7pm at FOC PIM PAM. $88; $128 with free flow drinks.

Sama Sama

This photo exhibition curated by students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information highlights the lives of those who have a special relationship with the Singapore-Malaysia Causeway.

Super Lunch Sunday

Treat yourself before Monday comes rolling around and take a trip to Lime, where you’ll be bombarded by a buffet spread of lamb rack, prime ribs, Peking duck, Maine lobsters, pan-fried foie gras, laksa, strawberry shortcake, and loads more.
