Friday, Apr 27

Go Rouge presents Laidback Luke

Dance to tunes by Laidback Luke at Swissôtel The Stamford’s rooftop bar, with views of the Marina Bay area as a backdrop to the beats of house and techno.

9pm-late at Bar Rouge. $35-$65.

Indie Sesh Vol 1: Rewind 90s

Take a trip back to the ’90s at this jamming session featuring the likes of Approaching Aphelion, Distortion Collective, Cronkite Satellite, and more.

6pm-11pm at Kontiki. Free.

Singapore International Festival of Arts

SIFA returns for its 41st edition this year, with a selection of theatre, music, dance, literary, and visual arts happenings spread over three weekends across ten performances spaces. Highlights include the production of 1984, tap dancers on stage for The Blues Project, and Singular Screens, a line-up of 13 films from across the globe.

Saturday, Apr 28

Fashion Revolution

Join the fashion revolution to get on board with sustainable, ethical fashion — activities for the day include a clothing swap, a fashion show, and workshops on sewing and sandal-making with recycled leather.

11am-8pm at The Hive Lavender. 

Keepers Designer Trunk Show

Support local and celebrate homegrown craftsmanship at the inaugural Keepers Designer Trunk Show, with brands like The Missing Piece, David’s Daughter, Cruise, and Weekend Sundries on display.

Noon-6pm at Keepers, National Design Centre. 

Netflix and Woof

Netflix wants you to get off your couch and find your next “binge buddy” at its adoption drive with Save Our Street Dogs Singapore this weekend. Other activities include a booth for caricature pet drawings, a photo booth, and a picnic-style screening of Benji under the stars.

4pm-9pm at 50 Tanjong Rhu Place. 

 

Sunday, Apr 29

Keep Clean, Singapore!

Organized in conjunction with the first Car-Free Sunday outside of the Civic District, this fest includes a family carnival, the PHC Walk to raise awareness of maintaining cleanliness beyond our doorsteps, food, and loads of entertainment.

9am-noon at one-north (P&G Innovation Centre). Free.

Smack My Beach Up: Mayday Mischief

Celebrate Labor Day early at the beach with games of beer pong, beach twister, and giant Jenga.

1pm-10pm at Tanjong Beach Club.
