A free outdoor indie rock festival in the heart of Bukit Timah? Verily, we are so there.
As part of the Passion Arts Festival, TinHill RockFest promises nine hours of mind-blowing talent from across the island, featuring the top names in Singapore’s blooming music scene. The lineup has been confirmed too, with the likes of Havanas Social Club, Pleasantry, Taj, Inch Chua, Caracal, Plainsunset, Charlie Lim, Silhouette and ANECHOIS gracing the stage this Saturday.
“Who says Singapore is a music desert?” ponders TinHill RockFest chairman Eugene Yang.
“This sumptuous buffet spread of the top local talent shows just how far Singapore rock has come, from the early simplistic chords of the 60s, to the complex harmonics of today– much like the explosive growth and dynamic progress of our own nation.”
The festival kicks off this Saturday from 3pm till midnight at Bukit Timah’s Merlion SportsCity — stay updated on their Facebook event page.
